Sea Kayaking Seminars:

Buying a Sea Kayak:                     Learn the different aspects involved in purchasing your first sea kayak.
 
Kayaking Gear and Clothing:     Learn about kayaking safety gear and the best gear to help you have an
                                                            amazing kayaking trip or outing.

Packing for a Kayaking trip:       Learn how to pack your kayak for a multi day trip. Learn some tricks and tips to
                                                            make this easier.

Kayak Cooking:                               Learn how to create a menu for your trip. We will show you how to use single
                                                             burner stoves to create diverse and tasty meals. We will prepare meals that you will
                                                             help us eat.

Marine Navigation:                       Learn how to read a marine chart and plot a simple course using compasses.
                                                            Learn about tides and currents and how to use them when planning your trip.

Sea Kayaking  Level 1

This  level will cover the basics of kayaking equipment, Coast Guard requirements of sea kayak safety equipment and the four basic sea kayaking strokes. We will give you feedback to ensure that you are paddling effectively and correctly. This level is excellent for people brand new to sea kayaking.

Sea Kayaking Level 2

Level two will build on level one skills and will include new strokes and skills to help with the efficiency of your paddling. We will cover high and low bracing techniques, rafting, edging and rudder strokes.

Sea kayaking Level 3

Prepare to get wet! Learn rescue techniques in this lesson. Practice correct wet exits and recovery. Learn how to complete assisted and solo rescues.
