Paddle Canada Introduction to Sea kayaking SKILLS Lessons

 Location: Hidden harbour Marine Centre - Victoria, BC

Cost: $170.00 per person ( plus 12% HST)

Cost Includes: Boat rental, all paddling equipment, safety equipment, Paddle Canada course fees and certification card.

         ▪ Eskimo Rescue                                                             ▪ Forward and reverse sweep strokes

         ▪ T-Rescue                                                                         ▪ Draw strokes

         ▪ Rafting                                                                              ▪ Low brace

Kayaking Knowledge                                         

             ▪ Boat design

             ▪ Boat outfitting

             ▪ Clothing

 Day Schedule:

8:45 am – arrive and prepare for lessons

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – kayaking knowledge lessons and paddling skills

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm – Lunch Break – Bring your own lunch and lots of snacks!!

1:00 pm – 3:30pm – Paddling skills and rescue skills -Wet Suit Rentals available.

3:30pm – 4:00 pm – break

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Complete rescue skills and evaluation
